own fewer, save more
a decluttering inventory for the things you already own. snap a photo, fewer recognizes the item, you decide what to keep.
four things, well
what it does
01
inventory the things you already own
add items by photo, voice, or quick manual entry. organize by location. tag custom categories that are yours, not ours. search across everything.
02
share a household, keep your office private
spaces let you invite the people you actually share things with — partners, roommates, coworkers — and decide per-item whether they can see it. one app for the home and the office, separation built in.
03
recognize what you point a camera at
the optional Smart Add feature uses Google's Gemini API to suggest a name, brand, and category from a photo. tap it when you want it. manual entry is unlimited and never depends on AI.
04
export anything, anytime
your inventory exports to CSV with one tap. no lock-in, no hostage data. close your account and we delete it.
smart add. on your terms.
recognize what you point a camera at
take a photo. fewer's AI recognizes the item, suggests a name, brand, and category, and saves it to your inventory.
photos go to Google's Gemini API for analysis. they're not retained, not used to train models, and you can turn the whole feature off in Settings. manual entry is unlimited and never gates on AI.
free tier: 5 AI scans per calendar month. Plus tier: unlimited.
spaces & sharing
private when you want it. shared when you don't.
make a space for your home, your office, your family, your beach house. invite people in by email — three roles: owner, editor, viewer.
mark items shared and they show up for everyone in the space. mark items private and they stay yours only. the boundary is enforced at the database — not just the user interface — so a private item cannot be retrieved by another member even by direct API access.
remove someone from a space and they immediately lose access at the next request.
pricing — no surprises
fewer Plus is the only thing we charge for.
the free tier is real and not throttled. the inventory is yours either way.

privacy is not a feature
your inventory is none of our business — except enough of it to give you the app.
things we never do
- sell your data to anyone
- use your inventory to train AI models
- run advertising in the app
- collect precise location, contacts, browsing history, or anything else we don't need
things you can do
- turn AI off in Settings → AI Suggestions
- export your full inventory as CSV
- delete your account in Settings, with full data wipe in 30 days
photos uploaded by you go to a private encrypted storage bucket. when you tap Smart Add, the photo goes to Google's Gemini API for that one analysis call only — Gemini doesn't retain photos sent to its paid API, and we don't opt into model-training data collection.

questions
questions
is fewer free?
yes. the free tier is real and not throttled — manual entry, sharing, and CSV export are all unlimited. optional AI-assisted parsing has a cap (5 per calendar month) on the free tier. fewer Plus removes the cap for $3.99/mo or $29.99/year.
what happens if I delete my account?
your data is deleted within 30 days. during that window you can recover by signing back in. after 30 days, deletion is final, and backups cycle out within 90 days.
can family members see all my items?
only the items you mark shared. items you keep private remain visible to you only, even if you're in a shared space with someone. the rule is enforced at the database, not just the interface.
why isn't this on Android yet?
v1 ships iOS first. Android is on the roadmap and the codebase already targets both platforms via React Native. the sequencing is account-and-store overhead, not technical readiness — we'd rather get v1 right on one platform than ship a half-baked launch on two.
what if the AI gets it wrong?
edit it. every AI-suggested field is editable before you save, and you can turn AI off entirely in Settings if you don't want it. manual entry is the default path and never depends on AI.
